Marcy Goot is the Director of Marketing at the Benetech Global Literacy program.  Benetech is a nonprofit organization which develops and uses technology for social good, founded in 1989 by MacArthur Award winner Jim Fruchterman.  Marcy directs the Marketing and Training teams at Bookshare (the world’s largest library of accessible eBooks for people with print disabilities), DIAGRAM (Digital Images and Graphic Resources for Accessible Materials), and Route 66 (which provides web-based literacy instruction.)  Marcy is originally from the book industry, working at Random House, Time Warner and Hyperion.
