George H. Williams is an Associate Professor of English at the University of South Carolina Upstate where he has helped lead research projects on accessible website development. His research and teaching interests include eighteenth-century studies, orality & literacy, the digital humanities, and disability studies in the humanities. His current project involvement is with AccessibleFuture.org, four two-day long workshops where humanists, librarians, information scientists, and cultural heritage professionals can learn about digital technologies, design standards, and accessibility.
