Erica Titkemeyer is hosted by the Smithsonian Institution Archives as a National Digital Stewardship resident. Her project surrounds the preservation of digital assets incorporated within time-based media art installations, with focus on developing procedures to document the variability, behaviors, and iterative nature of these works in a trustworthy digital repository environment. She has previous experience in carrying out audiovisual collection assessments and digital initiatives at the New York Public Library, Anthology Film Archives, and the American Museum of Natural History. She received her B.S. in Cinema Production from Ithaca College, and her M.A. in Moving Image Archiving and Preservation from New York University.
